What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how the site is being used.
Cookies we use
We keep our cookie usage minimal. Here's exactly what we set:
Essential cookies
These are required for the Service to function. You cannot opt out of these without breaking core functionality.
- session_token — Keeps you logged in to your account. Expires when you log out or after 30 days of inactivity.
- csrf_token — Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks. Session-only.
- cookie_consent — Remembers your cookie preferences. Expires after 12 months.
Functional cookies
These remember your preferences to improve your experience.
- theme — Remembers your light/dark mode preference. Expires after 12 months.
- sidebar_state — Remembers whether the dashboard sidebar is collapsed or expanded. Expires after 12 months.
Analytics cookies
We use privacy-focused, first-party analytics to understand how people use Vulpine. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking service.
- _v_id — Anonymous visitor identifier for aggregate usage statistics. Expires after 30 days. No personal data is attached to this identifier.
Third-party cookies
We do not set third-party cookies. Our payment provider (Stripe) may set cookies on their own domain during checkout, governed by Stripe's cookie policy.
Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you:
- View what cookies are stored and delete individual ones
- Block cookies from specific sites
- Block all third-party cookies
- Clear all cookies when you close the browser
Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in to the dashboard.
Changes to this policy
If we start using new cookies, we'll update this page and notify you through the cookie banner. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
